The Clerk/Treasurer is the chief financial officer for the city and serves as the clerk for the common council, the plan commission, the Board of Works & Public Safety and is the keeper of all official records for the city and its boards and commissions. Board of Works and Public Safety |
The Board of Works & Public Safety is responsible for all city lands, buildings and construction projects. Per state statute the Mayor serves as the president of the board and presides at al meetings. Also, Indiana law charges this board with the responsibility of overseeing the operation, rules and regulations of the Police and Firs Departments and the approval of all city contracts. |

Civic Center |
The Civic Center is located at 101 S. East Street across from City Hall. This facility is open for public use and meetings of approved non-profit civic groups and service organizations. Use by the public is subject to availability and the rules, regulations and fees of the Civic Center. |
